Seriously, what is football?
I only ask because, based on the way my team played their first home game tonight, I have no idea what football is. If it is a sport where you let the other team do whatever they want, squander every opportunity, throw the ball around like a hacky sack, fumble the ball like a slippery fish, and run the wrong way on kickoff returns…then maybe I know more than I think.
I am so embarrassed for my team right now its not even funny. We should have won that game. I didn’t even finish watching the 4th quarter it was soooooo bad. 0-3, there goes the season.

For those of you who care about football…
My Saints have decided to go back to their old tricks - NOT winning. However, while we used to be a “first half” team (playing well in the first 2 quarters then losing in the last half), it appears we are now a “second-half” team (playing horrible in the first half then trying to mount a comeback in the second half).
COME ON GUYS! I can see losing to the Super Bowl Champs in the first game, but losing to the Bucs!??? Not acceptable. I am docking all of you a weeks pay. Now, get back to the team of last year…you know, the ones that made it to one game away from the Super Bowl!

Hey anyone who ever checks this site…check the videos to see if you can view them now. I just encoded them into Flash movies myself and uploaded to this server instead of going through YouTube. Hope that does it. Please leave comments as to whether you can view them or not.
Thanks peeps.
No commentsOne Tooth, Large Brain
Well, on Monday this week, Kayl had to go get an ultrasound on his head. The reason? His head is flip’n huge! Not really disproportionate to his body, but on his last doc visit, his head diameter measured in the range only about 3% of babies are in. The doc said we should have it checked “just too be sure nothing was wrong”.
Anyway, during the ultrasound it took two adults (Christy and myself) to hold Kayl down, one adult to help hold while using the ultrasound wand, and another adult to dance in front of Kayl to distract him. That’s right, 4 adults to subdue a 7 month old! I think he was using some Jedi mind trick on us because he was freakishly strong…
Later that day, we found a tooth crowning on his bottom jaw! So now, with his first tooth coming in, he goes around with his tongue flopped out because he likes the feeling of something poking into the underside of it.
Thursday we got the results in from the ultrasound. It was as expected: His head is huge because his brain is very large and he is trying to take over the world with his mental powers. They recommended using a superhuman cranial dampener on his so that he doesn’t accidentally disintegrate one of the dogs while he discovers his new mental powers….
…OK, I made up the part about the superhuman thingy. But everything is fine with him - his brain is just large!
