A sad sad end…

OK…The Saints lost their 4th game (2nd game at home).  The season is now over.  They are just playing out of a formality now.  No team has ever returned from an 0-4 season opener losing streak.

We could be the first, but that is just too painful to hope for.  I find myself resurrecting an old football season mantra of mine: “There’s always next year”.

    I too, felt it was all over for our dear Saints BUT did you see that game on Monday night? They had a real sign of life… and I’m all about holding onto the hope of THIS season. Maybe they came out of hiding and will bust through on the scene… “it could happen” ya know!

    Sweet! Another person reading this blog! Thanks for caring about my Saints mother. I did see the game Sunday (I have it recorded too). If they keep playing like that, we could at least come out with a winning season. GO SAINTS!

    The irony is that the Seahawks are my secondary team…
