Come on SAINTS! What the heck is wrong with you guys? Losing at home to the stupid Eagles?! Thankfully the Vikings lost (sorry Wes) and we still have a shot at the playoffs.

What needs to happen in the final week of regular season you ask? Here’s the scoop:

- Vikings need to lose to the Denver Broncos (whom I haven’t rooted for all season so they’ll probably lose just to spite me)

- The Cowboys need to beat the Redskins (which should be easy even though they don’t need the win - this will be the only time you’ll EVER see me openly root for those Dallas boys)

- My Saints need to win against “Da Bears” @ Chicago…which will be tough, I admit.

If all that goes accordingly, the Saints are in the Playoffs!!! Here’s to hope’n.

My man Bush (Reggie not George), along with Brees and the rest of the Saints, is keeping the hope alive. The hope that even with a horrible 0-4 season start, we might still be able to make the playoffs!  4 game winning streak baby - to put us at 4-4!  Next week we play the 0-8 Rams…win number 5?  I think so.

Shame on me for doubting my Saints. It seems that I was premature in my judgment. They appear to be forming a comeback. Keep it up boys! You’re doing me proud!

Oh, way to stink’n go Packers! I love watching Bret play football… like watching MJ back in the day flying around the b-ball court. And while we are talking about great players…

Are the NE Patriots even from this planet? I’ve never liked the team, but there is no denying that they have got talent. I get embarrassed for their opponents!

OK…The Saints lost their 4th game (2nd game at home).  The season is now over.  They are just playing out of a formality now.  No team has ever returned from an 0-4 season opener losing streak.

We could be the first, but that is just too painful to hope for.  I find myself resurrecting an old football season mantra of mine: “There’s always next year”.

I only ask because, based on the way my team played their first home game tonight, I have no idea what football is.  If it is a sport where you let the other team do whatever they want, squander every opportunity, throw the ball around like a hacky sack, fumble the ball like a slippery fish, and run the wrong way on kickoff returns…then maybe I know more than I think.

I am so embarrassed for my team right now its not even funny.  We should have won that game.  I didn’t even finish watching the 4th quarter it was soooooo bad.  0-3, there goes the season.
